Partnering with Alex Craighead to kick off the school year was a tremendous success! The staff retreat received rave reviews. Working together through team-building activities to achieve a common goal helped bridge the gap between staff in different roles and truly united our school community.

Troublemaker Turned DREAM MENTOR.
MY STORY
I was raised in Washington on a small island in the Puget Sound. It was a beautiful place for a kid growing up, set in an idyllic community with strong family ties. However, during my middle and high school years I often found myself struggling inside. Eventually, I began to follow a destructive path of drugs, alcohol, and disrespect for my life and others.​
Throughout this chapter I lost interest in many of the things I once loved, including sports, family, and some of my closest friends. And I got in trouble - a lot. The beautiful small-town community vibes became a prison of judgment that I couldn’t escape, and I continued making one bad choice after another until a teacher took a chance on me and decided to believe in me no matter what.
She taught me how to believe in myself. She taught me how to dream. How to be more authentic and allow others to see the real me and my gifts. And, most importantly, she gave me the opportunity to mentor younger kids and to see first-hand the positive impact I could have on others.

This experience set me on a course to become a better person, an educator, a mentor, and an advocate for young people. I became more and more determined to serve and support others along their path to becoming their best while making the world a more safe, fun and loving place for ALL people.

Over the last decade, I earned a masters degree in teaching, taught in elementary and high schools around the world, and homed in on my purpose. I continue to work with youth and adults - training educators and developing curriculum, facilitating mentorship programs, and leading transformational transformational experiences.
In 2016 I co-founded the Journeymen Institute, a non-profit organization wholly focused on bringing out the best in boys. Journeymen’s mission is to encourage compassionate, inspired and resilient young men through nature-based rites of passage, mentorship, and community engagement. Our vision: Men of Integrity - Respecting All - Thriving Together.
After five years of success with Journeymen’s programs for boys and young men, we launched the One Village Initiative supporting the development of mentorship and rites of passage experiences for ALL youth in our communities. The initiative shifts towards a more inclusive model that expands our programs to meet the needs of young people regardless of gender.
Today, my mission is to empower individuals and organizations to unlock their full potential and drive meaningful change. I work with youth, educators, and corporate leaders, providing the tools and insights needed to cultivate authentic leadership, foster collaboration, and create environments where everyone can thrive. Whether in schools or boardrooms, I am dedicated to inspiring leaders and transforming communities through the power of connection, authenticity, and purposeful living.
